Edward L. Lechtenberg, D.M.D.

Dr. Edward Lechtenberg received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1968. He was a dental officer in the United States Air Force from 1968-1970. Until 1971, he practiced general dentistry and then entered training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Bronx Municipal Hospital Center in Bronx, NY. He completed his internship and residency in 1974 and has been in private practice at 2353Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge since July 1974.

He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Massachusetts Society of Oral & Maxillofacial surgeons, American Dental Association, the Middlesex District Dental Society, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. He has served as past Chairman and delegate for the latter two organizations.

Dr. Lechtenberg is a certified instructor for CPR and the Automated Electronic Defibrillator (AED). He is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
