dental implants

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.

Dental implants are changing the way people live. With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life. For more information about dental implants or to schedule a consultation appointment, call us at 617-492-8700.

wisdom teeth removal

Often, third molars (commonly known as "wisdom teeth") are prevented from properly aligning in the mouth, and they need to be removed. When there is not enough room for wisdom teeth to erupt properly they may grow in sideways, cause pain, and crowding of other teeth, and remain impacted beneath the gum and bone. When they are poorly positioned or impacted, wisdom teeth may eventually cause an infection. In some cases, serious problems may occur such as benign tumors and cysts which can form around the impacted wisdom tooth and result in destruction of the jawbone and other teeth in your mouth. Early removal of wisdom teeth is recommended to prevent further complications.
